Order Processing
We process all orders within 1 business day of receiving your order confirmation email. Once your order ships, you'll receive another email with tracking information.
Returns & Refunds
We accept returns within 30 days of delivery if the item is unused and in its original condition. We’ll refund your purchase minus the return shipping costs.
If your order arrives damaged, email us with your order number. We will do our best to make it right.
Delivery Delays or Lost Packages
Delays may occur due to:
- Incorrect addresses
- Customs issues
- Natural disasters
- Local delivery restrictions
If any of these situations occur, your package may take several weeks to work through the shipping system. Please contact us in these instances, and we will try to correct the issue or send a replacement package (at our expense).
Please note that a delayed package will not impact our pledge to replace or refund any incorrect, damaged item or not what you were hoping for.
Shipping Costs
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen shipping method.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order ships, you’ll receive an email with a tracking number. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to update.
If your order hasn’t arrived after a reasonable time, email us at contact@hearyourstory.com with your name and order number, and we’ll help you.
Special Shipping Situations
Untraceable Mail can take up to 28 days to arrive. If your package hasn’t arrived after 28 days, you are eligible for a one-time reorder or refund.
Military APO/FPO/DPO Addresses must use USPS shipping. At checkout, choose "United States" as the destination country and allow extra transit time.
International Orders:
- Delivered by your local postal service
- Customs fees or taxes (like VAT) may apply and are the buyer’s responsibility
- We do not ship to Russia or Ukraine
Special note for prison deliveries:
Please check the prison rules before ordering. Many facilities don’t allow coil-bound books and require delivery by mail. We are unable to refund or resend returned prison deliveries.
